I am currently with Cyberhaven, a AI-powered data security company focused on detecting and preventing data loss, insider threats, and protecting cloud data and AI security. Before joining Cyberhaven, I held positions as a founding engineering director @ Normalyze (2021-2025, Data Security, acquired by Proofpoint Inc in Nov 2024), an architect @F5 (2020-2021.2, WAF&API Security), a senior engineering manager @ForeScout (2016-2020, IoT Security), a principal engineer/researcher @Palo Alto Networks (2011-2016, Next-Generation Firewall, Network Security). I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and my M.S. and B.S. degrees from Nanjing University, China. I also spent 6 months at Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a researcher in 2004.
